Our company was founded and is run by experienced engineers. This enables TIS to understand, top-down, the customer’s technical goal/CONOP, the strategies and tools available for addressing that goal, and the skills and abilities required in SME personnel to craft a solution.

TIS has forged its reputation meeting the complex needs of critical DoD customers moving in real-time ops, who need their systems, networks, and apps to function reliably, with precision, speed, and efficiency.

We’re integration specialists: we do containerization and cloud: orchestration, automation, machine learning, and AI, as well as full stack development, big data engineering and analysis, issue-anticipating observability configurations, and site reliability engineering.

Pyi Maung

CEO

An accomplished cloud infrastructure engineer with over two decades of deep, hands-on experience in development and integration of systems across multiple classification networks, Pyi founded TIS in 2013. His experience leading multiple technical teams on complex architecture projects has taught him how to analyze, understand, and meet his customers’ requirements. Pyi holds two masters degrees (Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from George Washington University, and Information Security and Assurance from George Mason University) and is honored to lead a company devoted to supporting the warfighter. He enjoys raising his two sons in Northern Virginia.

Than Maung

VP

Than has delivered excellence in software programming, system administration, and platform automation engineering to customers for over twenty years. Than has focused his work on protecting the warfighter, having spent over 17 years of his career devoted to supporting DoD programs. He has enjoyed giving back to the next generation, teaching programming courses as adjunct faculty at Northern Virginia Community College. He holds a Masters in Information Security and Assurance from George Mason University, and resides in Chantilly, Virginia.
